Our campus is designed to enhance teaching-learning process and we ensure that it becomes a second home for our students. SPACIOUS AND WELL – VENTILATED CLASSROOMS : Students need to be in classrooms that inspire them—spaces that are light, airy, and filled with examples of work that they aspire to do. Our Shastry School will have a variety of spacious classroom settings. Some will be more traditional in the way that we envision classrooms now, but others might be set up outside or within an atrium or amphitheatre. Each classroom will be set up based on what is necessary to meet learning objectives. Comfortable seating in the class rooms make students more interactive and helps in concentrating more on their activities. We are providing good furniture for students as well as to mentors
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS : in each floor: As an essential equipment, safety precaution and for educative purpose we have installed fire extinguishers in
each floor.
DIGITAL RESOURCE for digital contents:
When topics are shown through videos it makes the topics easier and remains in the memory for a long time. So our teachers uses digital resources for all the possible topics available in the text books.
LIBRARY
Our library called the ‘Knowledge Nook’ is a great reservoir of knowledge with exhaustive learning resources. The Knowledge Nook is a strategic place of learning where project work, individual study and group research can all take place.A well-equipped library housing a wealth of useful books or informative and interesting video facilities, coupled with a motivating or mood-lifting ambiance not only attracts students but also develops a liking to study. For the sharpening mind and increasing vocabulary reading is essential. This will be improved when students read the books other than textbooks. At Shastry, we provide enormous number of story, science, moral values, fiction, non – fiction, mystery, historical, comic, fairy tale, dramas, fantasy, poetry, picture and also general knowledge books.
COMPUTER LAB :Well-equipped To bring in the knowledge of basic computer technology in the child, usage of computer is a must. We at school provide a completely equipped computer lab with the updated version of software.
SCHOOL ASSEMBLY AREA :
Shastry certifies knowing the importance of school assembly that it helps us to cultivate a sense of belonging towards our school. It trains us to behave well and learn to respect and appreciate what others have done for us. Second, the morning assembly provides a channel to release information related to our school life such as the club activities and extra-curricular activities.
PLAY GROUND :
Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their
imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development.
It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them. We at shastries have
enormous space for playground area which provides an ideal opportunity for our children to master their physical skills.
We have a huge play ground where children play not only for entertainment but also for their overall development in the academics. Students show interest in sports like Kho – Kho, Kabaddi, Volley ball, Throw ball and individual sports events which are well trained by experienced physical education instructors.
ACTIVITY HIVE :
We at SHASTRY keep our campus a busy place for kids where there are lots of activities taking place which helps and boosts our kids to bring out their talents. Students get centre-of –attention when we focus on English FEST, Science club with science exhibitions.
AUDITORIUM:
Our school promotes new avenues for the all-round development of the students. An important and critical feature of our school’s facilities is the auditorium. This grand hall has been the centre stage for a number of our students who have proved their mettle in dramatics, debates, musicals and other talent shows. The auditorium has been the battle-field of several inter-school competitions and has seen hundreds of students showcase their finest talents.
